History in Motion

I put far too much thought and time into this... for Neon Dragon's timetravelling comic series, Timescapes, I decided to play with the time concept -- inspired by the opening of the Playstation remake of Chrono Trigger, which features a shot of each of the times and main characters with a counter rolling by showing the year. Here you see Jenna and Dolosus walking with the Timesphere, with pictures of the other cast members in the background, as well as some dates (also known as random numbers I typed in) to cover some of the empty spots. Clockwise from the top right, you have Xenith on a building in what looks like a modern era, Undell watching Kyla play, Raigi looking defiant, Kyla summoning an elemental, Avalon plotting somehting on paper -- maybe trying to figure out when to go next, and Kimuri looking malicious with his version of the Timesphere. Each was done in a different medium... (except Jenna, Avalon and Xenith were done in colored pencils, as I ran out of media before characters) and, as you can tell from the links provided, I spent far too much time on those details. Special thanks go to my mother, who was nice enough to make a craft store run when I discovered I was out of black paper, and my sister, who happened to have a sponge when I needed to do the leaves in Undell's picture. No thanks go to my computer, which took 5 minutes to render every step I took to composite this.
