Another character exchange. This week, I drew Topaz's character
India, who seems to be struck by a line from that book. Yes, that is a real
Heinlein quote. The figure on the right is Katherine, an android
friend/mother figure to India, who is desceased (hence the transparency
and angelic look). I was reading Topaz's comic and was struck by a
conversation when India mentions how nobody held a memorial service
for Katherine, because she was 'just an android'. It reminded me of that
quote from the end of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
Science-fiction is abut determining what is human, for me, so it seemed
